The most emblematic. Its intense colors and views of the Ausangate snow-capped mountain make it a classic experience for those seeking a challenge and an iconic landscape.

Palcoyo – 4,900 m a.s.l. | Hike: 30 – 45 min

The most accessible. Three colorful mountains and an impressive stone forest in a wide, tranquil, and panoramic setting.

Pallay Punchu – 4,700 m a.s.l. | Hike: 1 hr 30 min – 2 hr

How are the tours with Rainbow Mountain Tour.

  Before my trip to Peru I was looking for atv tours but they all seemed to be from Cusco but we were staying in Urubamba. I contacted Samuel on whatsapp... read more and he promptly responded that it would be no problem to pick us up from our hotel in Urubamba. 

We started with the half day tour to the Maras salt mines and Moray. The archeological sites were great but the second half of the atv tour was stunning. It was a beautiful bluebird day with huge puffy white clouds against a bright blue sky. We were there in the rainy season and the landscape was bright green fields and yellow flowers. It was my absolute favorite part of the trip. 

We then expressed an interest in going to Ollantaytambo. We had planned to go in taxi on our own but having Samuel as a guide made the experience 1000x better. He was very good about going at the pace of the slower person (me!) and we took breaks going up to the top. 

Caution: I wore a tshirt on the atv tour and only put sunscreen on my face. Too late I realized, I had a wicked sunburn on my forearms. Don’t forget to put sunscreen on any exposed skin. 

I highly recommend Samuel, have an excellent time in the Sacred Valley.

Then we... read more took atvs to Lake Huaypo and took in the beautiful scenery. The next part took us by car to the salt mines, don’t skip this part! Then we finished with a short textile demonstration in Chinchero before heading back to Cusco. Samuel was awesome all the way, describing the land and his family’s places, local history, he even took helped us transfer our luggage to our new hotel! Don’t hesitate if you want to book this tour. It was just the 2 of us, the group sizes can vary, so it was VIP for us. Recommended!

El equipo de ZIPLINE muy seguro desde los arneses hasta las instalaciones en los puntos de partida. Seguridad es lo que no te tienes que preocupar! Lo tienen muy bien echo. Y los paisajes durante los recorridos ni que decir. Un golazo escogerlos a ellos ! Volveremos y recomendáremos SIEMPPRE

PD: No se pueden perder el picnic, lleno de detalles y comida local muy fresca. El mejor choclo EVER.

Recomendación: no lleven ropa blanca y usen protector solar hasta en las manos.

Ademas nos animamos a hacer Zipline y todo funcionó muy rapido y flexible, dependiendo de nuestros intereses y tiempo. Tuvimos excelentes paisajes en ambas actividades y vimos las Salineras de Maras. 

Los tres tuvimos un gran día con el señor Samuel y podemos recomendar el tour! 

Los equipos y móviles estan en muy buen estado, es muy confiable. Ademas ofrecen agua y fruta fresca durante el día, que es un buen detalle.
